Hey smooth people:

| On the show this week, just lots of music.  Unfortunately, my main 
broadcast
| computer has died and this is creating some challenges.  We'll be on the
| air, but from the back up computer.
|
| As you may recall from last week, we talked extensively about the state of
| smooth jazz.  I took direct aim at The Weather Channel from an article 
that
| indicated that they were no longer going to have smooth jazz as part of
| their Local On the 8 segments.  I e-mailed the new Executive Vice 
President
| of Programming regarding this issue.  to my total surprise, I actually
| received a reply this week and it surprised me what he had to say.  I'll
| share that message with you on the show.

| Smooth Jazz news and lots of music is what's on for this week.
|
| Around these parts, it's very very hot with an Extensive Heat Warning on
| until Tuesday night.  So we're just staying inside and will have lots of
| cool music for you.
