hey smooth people:

The heat is on here in the Mid-west and we are under a heat advisory 
this afternoon.  The music on the show tonight is just as hot as the 
weather.  I will share with you my interview with Roger Blevins from 
the group Mingo Fishtrap who will be in town this thursday night for 
another free summer jazz concert.    I will also feature tracks from 
the new CD from Roger Smith titled "Sittin' In."

As most of you know, we had an issue with the broadcast server last 
week.  thus, the four new CDs we had scheduled to feature last week 
will be featured this week so you get a chance to hear them.

they include:

Alexander Zonjic with "Doin' the d."

Richard Elliot with "Rock Steady."

Jimmy sommers with "time Stands Still"

And Tower of Power with "The Great American Soul book."

I'll have smooth jazz news, celebrate some artist birthdays and more.

Our Smooth Jazz USA Weekend program is now heard on three Internet 
stations: of course The Global Voice airs it on Sunday at 23:00 Hours 
UTC (6PM central, 7 Eastern) and the show can also be heard on the 
Penthouse and Smooth Jazz 4u.

If you should miss the live airing of our program tonight, you can 
hear a replay of the show on Thursday at 4UTC on The Global Voice and 
anytime from my web page.
